Vincennes Hippodrome de Paris is widely considered as the Mecca of trotting and is the benchmark hippodrome for trotting races throughout the world. Just 15 km from the racecourse, the Domaine de Grosbois hosts the international training center where almost all the race horses are welcomed and trained before the races.
Enjoy a day out with friends or family at this remarkable site. The guided tour of the equestrian centre will take you around the main training facilities including the 77-metre long manège and the 400-metre covered training track. You will also catch a glimpse of some of the private areas such as the stables. The tour takes place in the morning so that you can observe the centre at work.
With almost 150 races, the prestigious winter meeting takes place in Vincennes racetrack from the 30th of October 2019 to the 29th of February 2020. Among the legendary races of Vincennes, the Grand Prix d'Amérique is undoubtedly the absolute Grail that will celebrate 100 years of existence in 2020.Created in 1920 as a tribute to the United States’ commitment to World War 1, the Grand Prix d'Amérique is the planet’s biggest trotting race.
In addition to the equestrian activities, at Domaine de Grosbois you will find a chateau classified as a historic monument and a museum of harness racing (Musée du Trot). To enjoy everything the site has to offer, you can also book a guided tour of the chateau or reserve a seat for a classical music concert held in the chateau.
