The prolongation of line 14 in the North started in June 2014. It is an exceptionnal opportunity to discover the huge organisation of the construction of a tunnel and a station (Pont Cardinet).
In total, 4 new stations should appear : Pont Cardinet, Porte de clichy, Clichy Saint-Ouen and Mairie de Saint-Ouen plus a new maintenance and siding site for new trains. The whole building should result on 5.8 km more serve than before from Saint Lazare to Mairie de Saint-Ouen and entirely underground.
2 pm : Inside presentation of the project
2:45 pm : Equipping and descent in the future Pont Cardinet station
3:30 pm : End of visit (may be 1 hour more if it is possible to walk to Porte de Clichy through the tunnel)
Hazards of the building can change the planning

Futuristic visit
I've recently visited the development site of metro line 14 and learned many new things about construction, surrounding area development and Paris history. Very recommended tour!
