The Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris, which opened its doors in October 2017, is in fact situated at the historic site of the former haute couture house. In this unique setting, as you discover the collections on display as well as the studio of Yves Saint Laurent, which forms part of your visit to the Museum, your tour guide will accompany you on your journey to meet the couturier’s creative genius.


A special visit to the museum before it opens its doors to the public, immersed in a historic location preserved in one of the most elegant districts of Paris.

To mark the 60th anniversary of the haute couture house and the very first fashion show held on 29 January 1962, the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris will be presenting the exhibition Yves Saint Laurent au 5, avenue Marceau.

Come and admire original, annotated sketches, collection boards, workshop sheets and photographs among other exhibits in the impressive library. See the prototypes of Yves Saint-Laurent’s emblematic designs, including the safari jacket, the tuxedo, the jumpsuit, and the trench coat. Discover how he was inspired by artists such as Van Gogh, Picasso and Matisse
