Description
Come and explore La Villette, Paris largest park and the only park open to all, day and night, all year round, on a night walking tour focused on architecture and landscaping.
Brigitte – your Parisian guide – will share with you her knowledge about La Villette and its architects, the history of La Villette (Jean Nouvel, Christian De Portzamparc, Bernard Tschumi…), who have designed the unique cultural landmarks you’ll discover in the park (The Philharmonie de Paris, Cité de la musique, Cité des sciences, Géode and more...).
If you’re already familiar with the park during daytime, you’ll be surprised how different it looks once it’s dark, how mysterious and magic the atmosphere becomes at night.
As an added bonus, the December tour will take place at the time of “Lumières” La Villette’s light festival with breathtaking installations by international artists throughout the park.
The 6 km-long circular tour through the park takes approximately 2,5 hours.
This guided tour is also conducted by Brigitte in French on other dates
