Steeped in history, it has been home to many illustrious figures, including the kings of France, Napoleon III and Marie-AntoinetteBought by Catherine de Médicis in 1577, the national Domaine of Saint-Cloud had its moment of glory under Philippe duke of Orléans in the 17th century.

On this guided tour, wander through the formal gardens, picturesque fountains and wooded paths designed by André le Nôtre, the famous gardener best known for founding the gardens of the Château de Versailles.

The estate also hosts a number of temporary exhibitions, and is packed with ecosystems that protect the local flora and fauna
