Discover the Floral Park of Paris Vincennes, its 3,000 plants and its artificial lake during this guided walk!
Created in 1969 to host international floral shows, the Floral Garden is now one of the four sites that make up the botanical garden of the city of Paris.
Between lake, oak and pine forest, we will be able to admire a rich and diversified fauna and flora as well as numerous works of Art and pavilions dedicated to bonsai, butterflies or mediterranean plants.
The park is home to beautiful populations of peacocks, Canada geese and collared parakeets.
The lake is frequented by coots, water hens, mallards, shelduck, gulls and grey herons.
Foxes, weasels, squirrels and hedgehogs are also regular visitors.
Sometimes birds of prey, buzzards, kestrels and hawks, European hawks and hawks glide in the sky.
As for the flora, the park has collections of Camellia, irises and bonsai, a lotus pond, numerous rhododendrons in the pine forest, superb peonies in the perennial meadow, imposing clumps of annuals in the Valley of Flowers, and beautiful unusual trees.
This visit is led by Jacky Libaud, a tour guide.
