Discover the Stains Garden City, its history and heritage. Built by architects Eugène Gonnot and Georges Albenque between 1921 and 1933, and renovated in 2020, it has preserved many original features, including brick facades, mosaic decorations, and its inner courtyards—friendly spaces with children’s play areas and shared gardens.

The comic book "Garden Cities — A Lived Utopia" : In 2025, sixteen authors and illustrators explored the garden cities of Île-de-France alongside their residents. These artists created a comic book that brings the residents’ stories to life through illustrations. The comic book begins with a brief illustrated history of the garden cities by Jean Leveugle and Jean Boidot, followed by 12 short comic strips that tell the stories of 12 garden cities, centered on the encounters between artists and residents.
This walk is part of the Printemps des cités-jardins : an event organised by l'Association régionale des cités-jardins d'Île-de-France, of which Explore Paris is a partner.
