Description

From the "zone" of Saint-Ouen to the present day antiques market, the Puces have attracted numerous film shoots whose directors have been seduced by the location and the unique atmosphere.

As early as the 1920s, movies were being made about the lives of the inhabitants of the area, or about the business of secondhand dealers. But the Puces were also frequented by professionals looking for furniture, costumes and accessories. The visit will be accompanied by film excerpts on a blackboard and the evocation of famous directors such as Louis Malle, John Schlesinger, Michel Gondry, Guillaume Canet and productions such as Midnight in Paris, Marathon Man or Lupin.

Film historian Juliette Dubois also accompanies film-themed guided tours of Père Lachaise Cemetery and other locations in Paris: unusual Méliès tour in Montreuil, etc. See the list of all ciné balades.
