Discover some of the main Olympic and Paralympic venues by bike with Tristan Bayle, your guide and direct witness of the Paris 2024 Games! Experience how the Olympics accelerated the transformation of an area long marked by its industrial past, and see how these changes continue to shape the city today.
Starting from the Parc de la Villette, we’ll follow two strategic axes: the Saint-Denis Canal and the Seine River, both central to the Paris 2024 Games.
Pedal along a bikeway built for the Games, while admiring spectacular Street-Art installations from the Street-Art Avenue project.
From major venues like the Stade de France to newer sites such as the Olympic Aquatic Center, you’ll discover the local challenges and transformations involved in hosting an international sporting event.
Next, we’ll explore the Athletes’ Village, a 52-hectare site across Saint-Denis, Saint-Ouen, and L’Île-Saint-Denis, now transformed into a brand new urban district. Along the route, see the revitalized canal, new bridges, upgraded Seine banks, and renovated sports facilities — all part of the Olympic legacy for residents.
After a 2.5-hour, 13 km ride, you’ll have experienced firsthand how Paris 2024 reshaped the urban landscape, guided by someone who lived the Games from the inside.
This visit is led by Tristan Bayle, combining personal anecdotes with insights into urban planning, environmental ambition, and the social impact of the Olympics.
