Description

From the Place Dauphine to the Quai de Montebello, Juliette Dubois invites you to walk in the footsteps of the nostalgic hero of Minuit à Paris. You'll find the star-crossed lovers of the Pont-Neuf under the gaze of King Henri IV, nicknamed the Green Gallant for his numerous mistresses, and enjoy the flirting techniques of two young people from the 1960s.

Then we'll return to the pas de deux of An American in Paris and the inspirations of La La Land, while enjoying the conversations of the two heroes of Before Sunset who meet by chance at the Shakespeare&Co bookshop.

Authentic or legendary stories and numerous romantic movie clips set in the parisians locations that continue to make the movies dream:

  • The pleasure of strolling along the banks of the Seine.
  • The legends of love on the Ile de la Cité.
  • The dance scenes that echo each other from one film to the next, in the most romantic of settings.
  • The filming locations of A Bout de Souffle and the sets of La La Land.
  • Hollywood and Disney as ambassadors for Paris.

A thousand images and stories immediately come to mind when you hear "Paris in the movies". Ciné-Balade was born from this desire to show and tell them.

As a film historian, Juliette Dubois launched the Ciné-Balade concept in 2011 with the aim of using the cinema as a way to rediscover Paris and its cultural heritage. She guides a number of cinema-related visits in Paris, such as a guided tour of the Père Lachaise cemetery or a tribute tour to Georges Méliès in Paris Montreuil.
